Worked well for 2 weeks....THEN PUKED!!

WD had one chance with me and blew it!

I can only note my disdain by never doing business with them again...they caused me a great deal of aggravation.

The product description says, " Data Lifeguard Tools is a set of software utilities that work in conjunction with the embedded Data Lifeguard features to make hard drive installation, drive management diagnostics, and repair simple and worry-free." However, the drive arrived in a plain box with xeroxed instructions and without any software. The instruction pages were jumbled in the wrong order, with some pages upside down. The OEM box was nowhere to be seen. What makes this "caviar" is left to your imaginaton. It should be labelled the "catfish" edition. Needless to say, I am returning it.
